Some astrologers out there might appreciate it if I shared the "birth data" of this site. I'm not really sure which chart ought to be used, but, in any case, here's some data, with copy-and-pasteable Astrolog 5.40 command lines.
Naturally, I didn't plan in advance to start this site at any particular time. It was just an impulse decision. I was (and am still) running out of money and credit, so I figured I better spring for the best web hosting offer I knew of right then. I had to act now because chances were I wouldn't be able to do it later, because my resources were running out, and my financial situation has always been hopeless and worsening.
True, from a narrow perspective, my personal finances weren't always worsening. However, even while I was well en route to paying off my personal debts entirely, my family was sinking. So, in the big picture, I was still doomed, and eventually I was sucked right back into debt - and far more debt than I had ever recklessly gotten myself into in the first place, at that - to help my family.
A good analogy for the situation: it was as if I successfully kept myself from drowning in my bathtub, but unfortunately, I was on the Titanic. (And still kind of am, for that matter).

I signed up with DreamHost, and I'm very happy I did. I bought two years of their Code Monster package. The Astroblahhh.Com domain name was registered too in the process of signing up for DreamHost.

After the domain name started working for me (which was no later than 2:22 AM, though I'm not sure exactly what time), I saw some file or something at the root level of the site with the time and date "08-May-2006 21:21", which I'm assuming is probably PDT, 3 hours behind 0:21 EDT, since DreamHost is somewhere in California.
There was basically no content on this site up until the not-so-grand opening.

The not-so-grand, Grand(iose) Opening of Astroblahhh.Com. Uploaded the front page at 1:44 PM, and uploaded this updates page shortly thereafter, at 1:45 PM.
Here's a copy-and-pasteable Astrolog 5.40 command line for the amusement of any astrologers out there.
Of course, since then, I've also had to go around proofreading things and fixing various little errors here and there.-qa June 25 2006 13:44 EDT 80:34W 41:06N

At 9:08 PM, I added a link to my Blog in the navigational header and footer. My blog is hosted offsite, on Blogger.
I definitely can't guarantee it will be updated consistently or interestingly. I don't even know what I should put in it. I guess probably just little odds and ends, and things that are timely. But I think full-fledged articles or essays would be better to have someplace more organized, like this website.

Around 5:45 PM, added an Astrology section, and added ye olde Aspect Significance Rating Table originally at Astroblahhh.Tripod.Com, making some tiny, scarcely significant improvements.
I also added some updated, slightly improved versions of the JavaScript aspect rating calculator - two versions, to be precise: JavaScript Aspect Rating Calculator Version A (dropboxes) and
Version B (text input boxes).

Around 7:30 PM, added an Astronomy section, and a renovated version of ye olde Notes on Celestia page originally at Astroblahhh.Tripod.Com, with a possibly printable version, and also a possibly printable version featuring the controls only. Judging by the Print Preview, it looks like those would print better in the Opera web browser rather than Internet Explorer.
And, I also added a bit of CSS - Cascading Style Sheet - stuff to a few pages, instead of putting <font color="whatever">
tags everywhere. This should make no visible difference to you unless you happen to be reading the source code of my pages, or unless you have a web browser which can't deal with CSS, or at least the exact CSS features I'm using. Opera is one such browser - unfortunately, since I like Opera.

Around 2:53 PM, I added a bit to my donations page. And no, as you might expect, I haven't gotten any donations yet. But, I will persevere with indefatigable mendicancy. Yes, indeed.
Anyone can now donate to me via Second Life, searching for my in-game name "Apollia Pirandello" and sending me money in the currency of the game, Linden dollars (L$), which, bizarrely enough, can be exchanged for USD, currently around the rate of about L$300 per $1 USD.

Around 10:28 PM, I added a link and a Your Comments section to the credit card boycott page.
I also added a new blog index page, which will make it easier to get around my blog and its archives.

After about 50 million years, at 12:48 PM, I finally finished putting my vacation pictures from August 2000 up on this website. Jeeeeeez, that took forever. Oh, well. Work - it's the price of having some actual content on this website.
Added a new Pictures section of the site for any pictures of mine to reside in.
Also updated my blog index page.

To the Astrology section, I added the wonderful astrology programs Delphi and astrolib 1.03, as well as documentation about them. All this is being hosted here with the permission of their author, Delphi Twentine, whose website is located at www.exactphilosophy.net.
