Hello, world. I sure have been neglecting this site a lot.

Anyhow, the only update is, I shortened the Donations page, since it was much too wordy, and I didn't feel like having so much autobiographical moping on it anymore.

New page about America Online Personal Filing Cabinet (PFC) files

Finally, an actually useful update of this website - at least, useful for users of America Online's software, who have their AOL email stuck in PFC format, and are looking for a free, open source way to export their email to another format.

After successfully figuring out how to liberate my email from the AOL software, I created a new web page about doing that: AOL Personal Filing Cabinet (PFC) Files, and How to Convert Them For Free

Basically, I just used a lovely little free, open source Java program called PFC Viewer, by Ernie Yu.

Another interesting thing I dug up was a little file by Franz v. Gordon containing technical details about the PFC file format - PFC-Details.zip - which I found in the Wayback Machine.
