A path in the woods around Henry David Thoreau's famous Walden Pond in Massachusetts. I didn't take any pictures of the pond itself, actually, since the inadequacy of having only five rolls of film was finally becoming apparent.

I wish I had taken a picture of the gigantic black beetle that crossed our path as we were walking back along the edge of the pond to return to our car.
