Rhode Island!!! This is where we finally crossed the border, or realized we had.

It was raining a bit, but nonetheless, the first thing I did (after taking the picture) was to roll down the window, inhale deeply and exclaim, "Ahhhh! Rhode Island air!!!"

(And I don't believe I had ever yet read of H. P. Lovecraft doing much the same thing, so no, I wasn't purposely emulating him).
