On Saturday, August 12, 2000, we drove all the way from where we started from, Hubbard, Ohio, through lovely rather hilly northern regions of Pennsylvania I had never seen, and into New York. In the evening we stopped in some hotel, a Days Inn or something, right next to the Hudson River.

The next day, Sunday, August 13, 2000, we did a little sightseeing. I think this was the first historical thing we saw.

This was somewhere in New York State. These are huts of some historical Revolutionary encampment or something, which I don't quite remember the details of. They look like cabins to me.
